Their troops besieged Leningrad, After in 1941 Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union. Journalists are evacuated but Kate Davies, certainly one of them, is supposed deceased and misses the plane. From the town she is helped by Nina Tsvetnova idealist officer and a new and together they will fight for the survival of these people in the besieged Leningrad and their survival.
