Josh, a young boy, struggles to fit in at his new school and with his new classmates when the Primm family relocates to New York City. When he learns that Lyle, a singing crocodile who enjoys baths, caviar, and wonderful music, is residing in the attic of his new house, all of that changes. But when Mr. Grumps, a bad neighbor, threatens Lyle's existence, the Primms must join together to demonstrate to the world that family can come from the most unexpected places.
