Mary and Martha
Loaded American housewife Mary Morgan takes her son George for example a trip to Southern Africa, out of school to get home education. Whilst in Mozambique George is obscured. After his funeral in home Mary feels a compulsion to come back to Africa where she meets British girl Martha O'Connell,whose son Ben, a teacher using voluntary service overseas,has died of malaria. Ben gave his net believing adults can't catch malaria. The two women are not able to see the death rate brought on by the disease also,Mary petitions the American government whilst Martha remains in Africa as a voluntary helper. Martha turns up at Mary's house unannounced and,helped by Mary's ex-diplomat daddy,they also address a senate committee on health spending. They fulfill a few success though a coda says that much more may be accomplished.
