Mimic
A disorder carried by cockroaches is killing Manhattan children. In an effort an entomologist, Susan Tyler, creates a blue variety of insect that secretes a fluid to kill the roaches. This breed was engineered to perish after a creation, but Susan finds out that the species has lived and evolved into a gruesome creature which may mimic human form.
