Sara Góralnik, a 13-year-old Polish Jew whose entire family was murdered by Nazis in September 1942, is the subject of this documentary. Sara takes her Christian best friend's name and seeks safety in a remote village, where she is taken in by a farmer and his young wife after a harrowing escape to the Ukrainian countryside. She soon learns the horrible truths of her boss's marriage, aggravating the most important secret she must keep hidden: her own identity.
