Save My Seoul
This short video on prostitution and sex-trafficking in Korea has Eddie and Jason, two Korean-American siblings, in over their heads. After meeting Crystal and Esther, two prostitutes who explain exactly how deep the problem is and embark on a perilous mission to capture the truth, things get a little more tricky. Hidden cameras and access to pimps, johns, and sex-workers allow the filmmakers to examine and untangle the complexities of the sex trade in Seoul. That this problem goes well beyond exploited females and lustful men, they discover. A culture and a government that tolerate and ignore the gravest human wrong of our time are to blame, not the individual.
