Barbara (Jane Birkin) marries Julien (Sami Frey), a charming and sexy guy. Paul, Barbara's old lover (Gérard Jugnot), is very suspicious of Julien. It looks like Julien's first two wives died in suspicious ways, and he got a lot of insurance money because of that.
