The Cousin
Nounours is the name of a "cousin" who works as an informant for the police. In exchange for his help, the police give him 10% of the drugs they catch. Inspector Gérard Delvaux takes over after his personal contact, Inspector Maurin, kills himself. In the meantime, Judge Lambert is finding out what the police officers have been doing wrong. Her persistent investigations, which have put Maurin in a corner, are leading to Gérard and Nounours as the source of the heroin that caused recent deaths by overdose. Nounours keeps promising Gérard bigger catches, which he wants to get before he has to tell Lambert who Nounours is and be judged.
