The only survivor of this Grudge 2 massacre, jake, is contested by fantasies of Kayako and Toshio that have led to his illness. Jake's caretaker, Dr. Sullivan is determined to explore his horrifying stories. She explores his Chicago home, obtaining still yet another family on the brink of succumbing into the curse. It becomes evident that Jake's terrifying stories are authentic, and a mysterious Japanese woman could possibly be the sole real hope of banishing the spirits. . .unless her plan destroys all of them.
