The Human Duplicators
In this low-budget sci-fi picture, an alien from another galaxy is sent to take over the Earth by "duplicating" humans and producing a race of zombies that look like animated crockery. Enjoy the opening and final views of the alien spacecraft resembling a Christmas tree bauble dancing in space, the faces of the "duplicated" people smashing like a cheap vase when tossed to the floor, and the formative "duplicates" as they are cooked up in the lab in separate coffins. The continuous goodness of a lovely blind woman softens the alien's heart, deeply contradicting his motives as the film plods to its "climactic" confrontation between humans and their counterfeit copies.
