The Masque of the Red Death
Satan-worshiper Prince Prospero invites the nobility to his castle to get protection against an oncoming plague, the Red Death. He requests his guests to wait a hidden ball also, amidst a feeling of debauchery and depravity, finds the entrance of a stranger dressed all in crimson. Considering the figure for his own master, Satan, Prospero is horrified at the revelation of his individuality.
