The Raging Tide
A San Francisco hood gets rubbed out by rival Bruno Felkin, who himself confesses the incident to Homicide Lt. Kelsey in an alibi plot that fails. He stows away aboard a fishing boat to escape. At sea, skipper Hamil Linder welcomes Bruno and teaches him to fish; Bruno enlists Hamil's errant son Carl to manage his slot machines. Carl then develops feelings for Bruno's girlfriend Connie. The story reaches its climax during a storm at sea.
