Micky Adams (Kelsey Grammer), an eccentric has-been rock musician, loses his grip on reality as his document label looks to drop him and his brand-new "special" cds. In hopes of bursting out of the mailroom, young Charlie Doorperson (Jackson White) is entrusted with taking a trip to the musician's unusual house and requiring Micky out of his agreement. Micky understands Charlie could be the trick to an artistic innovation as well as the pair's not likely relationship grows.
