Alex, 43, is not an overburdened man. He works as a tow truck driver in his mother Antoinette's vehicle repair garage, which she runs with an iron grip. She hopes he will eventually take over the business, but Alex constantly demonstrates that he is unfit for the job. He assists a woman whose car breaks down one day and ends up staying the night at her house. The following morning, she is nowhere to be found, leaving Alex alone... with three children!
