Luisa Llorente, an authority on the valuation of historic structures, had had just visited the Victorian mansion Valdemar in order to carry out an inventory of the property ownership there. After she vanished without a trace, the president of her company, Maximilian, hired the services of a private investigator in the hope that he would be able to locate her. However, they will soon find out that this is not the first time someone has vanished from the Valdemar mansion!
