Donald Strachey, a gay detective, has been hired to protect John Rutka, a gay activist who has a history of "outing" people. Strachey quits being a bodyguard when he thinks Rutka is making threats against him to make them look like they are coming from him. As soon as Rutka is found dead, Strachey has a long list of enemies who all have a reason to kill him and want to hurt him.
