Charlie Cunningham pleads her mommy, Brownish-yellow, to allow her switch over from her little private school to a public senior high school, wishing to prove to her (and also to herself) that she's changed because being rejected of institution in 2015. Maturing with no luxuries, Brownish-yellow works overtime as a physician in order to provide Charlie the finer points in life. It's also her means of offseting her separation 2 years back, and she stresses that Charlie condemns herself for the splitting up. Brownish-yellow is concerned Charlie will go back to her old means, coming under the wrong crowd and also obtaining blended in drugs and alcohol, yet she reluctantly agrees. The new school starts well; Charlie obtains good qualities and praise from her teachers and also signs up with the robotics group - up until she falls in with the incorrect group, starts abusing synthetic weed, and comes to be a covering of her former self.
