Turu, the Wacky Hen tells the story of a creature who becomes the target of ridicule for the rest of the henhouse due to her unusual appearance. Isabel, an ex-music teacher who chooses her because she is so special, is unafraid of her wiry legs and featherless back. Turuleca does not lay eggs because her hidden talent is to talk, sing, and dance with abandon.
