In 1981, chalk slogans written in uppercase letters began showing up in public rooms in the Romanian city of Boto?ani. They required liberty, mentioned the democratic developments taking place in Romania's socialist sister nations or just called for renovations in the food supply. Mugur C?linescu was behind them, that was still at institution at the time and also whose instance is recorded in the documents of the Romanian secret cops. Theatre supervisor Gianina C?rbunariu developed a docudrama play based on this material.
