2 boys (Jon Cryer, Rick Stear) that have been good friends since early childhood years determine to go on a journey to find a third close friend (Rafael Baez) that has long since vanished. Stories they have listened to suggest that the buddy has actually been seen in an apparently rambling, mute state at Coney Island. Their trip leads them to a number of experiences involving the otherworld-like life at the Park as well as discoveries associated with their own pasts including the fatality of one's sibling, a failed past relationship, monetary failings, and alcoholism.
