Nam opens a Wanchai bar and rises in the Hung Hing gang. He's dispatched to Taiwan to work for Lui, leader of the San Luen gang, and falls for his mistress, Ting Yiu. Chicken returns to Hong Kong to find Nam fighting longtime adversary Fai Fat. Lui then demands a 50% stake in Hung Hing's planned Macau casino. Lui threatens war, Chicken must choose sides, and Ting Yui arranges a meeting when Hung Hing chief Chiang wants to think about it. Chicken's love, Fai and Nam's rivalry, Lui's money, and Ting's goals collide.
