Lamb
It's called Lamb, and it's based on a book by Bonnie Nadzam. It shows David Lamb's self-discovery in the weeks after his marriage broke down and his father died. With the help of Tommie, a shy and unpopular 11-year-old girl who he hopes will give him back some faith in his own goodness, he wants to get back to being a good person. Lamb thinks he can help her avoid a life of apathy and emptiness, so he takes Tommie on a road trip from Chicago to the Rockies, where he hopes to teach her about the beauty of the wilderness. The journey changes them in ways they didn't expect.
