It's been a long time since Caine, Bronson, Angus, and Wendell, dubbed 'The Chain Breakers,' escaped from a Vietnamese POW camp. They are presently housed in the Hogan Hills Retirement Home for Returned Veterans. Each of the boys has an unfulfilled dream that they wish to accomplish. As a result, they band together in order to formulate a strategy for escaping this new nightmare. However, the rules of engagement have shifted; in fact, they have forgotten what they were, which is half the problem. NEVER TOO LATE is a mashup of Grumpy Old Men and The Great Escape, about four friends reconciling after years apart to educate one another that it's never too late to pursue your ambitions.
