Tisza: Autumn Sketches
The first traces of fall can be spotted in a riverside scene. To prevent further erosion, some residents are building stone blocks on the riverbank. Others are ploughing, fishing, or restoring their crops. Passing by is a little steamer. A stoker shovels coal into the oven in the engine room. The water passes through a little village further down the river. A rowing squad is preparing for upcoming competitions. Microbes from the water are being examined under a microscope by certain researchers. A group of employees is painting and pushing a new barge into the river. A tiny boy leaves his sandcastle and hurries along the river when he spots a racing boat.
