Conceição is a girl that abandoned Minas Gerais in hunt for a new life. She runs off on a freight train to Rio de Janeiro, where she chooses refuge using a loving family in Rio's suburbs. She falls in love with a hard working Cleiton and rebel youngman, who was raised without a dad and lives between evil and good. Conceição becomes a funk star, however she doesn't loose her character that is pure, reassuring her integrity ahead of the obstacles of life. These common folks face a difficulty that is recurring us to all : The way to sustain your notion of morals, ethics and justice, in cases of values of inequity, violence and decadence?
