Julián Torralba is an Almeria-based stuntman. It's a sad day for him and his friends who used to make a living in Spanish American Westerns. Lauren and Carlos are estranged from Julián due to his son's death as a stuntman. Julián's band of has-beens attracts Carlos, a little lad. It's there that Carlos gets his first taste of the hard-drinking faux-cowboy lifestyle. Informed by Julián's haters that Carlos has joined him, Laura works to demolish even this last vestige of Julián's once-proud profession as a tourist attraction. To defend themselves, Julián and the cowboys resort to violence.
