DAU. Natasha
Natasha is the canteen manager in a top-secret Soviet scientific institute from the 1950s. This is the pulsating center of the DAU universe; everyone comes here, including DAU personnel, scientists, and international visitors. She spends her days at the canteen and her nights with her younger colleague Olga, sharing their dreams of romance and a different future. Natasha meets Luc Bige, a visiting French scientist, during a party one evening and the two sleep together. The next day, she is summoned to an interview by KGB General Vladimir Azhippo, who probes her about her relationship with the foreign guest.
